Controversial singer Portable has finally made his first public remarks after being arrested.

The musician was detained by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday night, May 14, 2024, for not making good on the debt he accrued when he bought a G-Wagon from an automobile dealer.

It was learned that Portable only paid N13 million toward the N27 million cost of the car while buying it, refusing to pay the remaining N14 million because the vehicle was faulty.

After receiving a report from the car dealer, the police quickly took action and detained the singer.

The artist has now spoken out, saying that God is greater than everything on his Instagram page. He concluded by asking everyone who agreed with the proverb to shout Amen.

Portable also emphasized that God is in charge of everything.

“God is bigger than everything. Amen if you believe so. God over everything”.

Honey Berry, Portable's third baby mama, posted a video of herself making fun of the singer and saying that she begged him to provide her son's feeding allowance, but he refused adding that tragic events have now befallen him.
