God called us to change Lagos – Funke Akindele

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy governorship candidate of Lagos state, Funke Akindele has expressed confidence in her ability to change the state for the better.

She made this known on Sunday, October 23, at the Surulere district of Ayo Ni o Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church in Badagry.

The actress cum politician noted that her emergence as the deputy governorship candidate was God's doing as there were several others vying for the position.

According to Funke, God called the upon the PDP governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) to transform Lagos.

“We were called by God, if not we would have backed out,” NAN quoted her saying.

She assured that the team would “change the story of Lagos State” for the better.
