The Central Planning Committee, consisting of family and friends of the late John Okafor, has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to seek financial contributions from well-wishers.

The fundraising effort aims to support the execution of a dignified burial ceremony for the revered Nollywood icon.

The beloved actor, affectionately known as Mr. Ibu, battled a prolonged illness that ultimately led to his passing, following a year of recurrent hospitalizations.

The family has announced that the funeral services are planned to span from Tuesday, June 25, to Thursday, June 30. The detailed schedule and arrangements for the burial will be communicated in due course.
