'Go and sell your body now' - Lady shares her dad's reaction to her request for an iPhone 8

A Nigerian lady has shared a video of her father's response to her request for an iPhone 8 as birthday gift.

In the video shared on TikTok, she captured herself in a car with her parents as his dad showed his disapproval of her request for an iPhone.

Her father, who has shouldered other responsibilities for her, like paying her fees, giving her money for food etc stated that he cannot get her an iPhone, and that if she wants to sell her body for one, she can go ahead.

Her angry father, who is a pastor, added that he has not seen anything that shows that his future is secured with her and expressed gratitude that he has other children.

He continued that even students who have gained admission to study medicine haven’t asked for an iPhone, whereas she, who has not yet gained admission to study Yoruba, is making such a request.

In his defense, he said his daughter should have asked him to start saving money for her school fee and not ask for an iPhone.

The mother, who interjected with remarks, supported her husband and accused her daughter of constantly causing her ‘pain.’

Reacting to the video shared online, some influencers offered to get her an iPhone, whilst others bashed her for outing her parents online.
