Ghanaian actress Akuapem Poloo arrested over nude photo with son

Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo has been arrested over the photo she took with her son which shows her nude.

The actress had shared the photo in celebration of her son's 7th birthday. According to her, her gesture reminded her of the way she was on the day her some as born.

The picture sparked controversy leading to a petition to the Inspector-General of Police in Ghana for her arrest as filed by the Child Rights International.

Akuapem Poloo has now been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and taken to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit.
