Gedoni meets with fashion designers in Calabar

Special Assistant to the Cross River State Governor on Garment Factory and Branding, Gedoni Ekpata has met with fashion designers in Calabar.

Taking to his social media pages to announce the details of the meeting, the ex-TV reality star said it was a strategic meeting between designers to discuss accessibility and a possible partnership with the Cross River State Garment factory.

The Cross River State Garment Factory was established three years ago by Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade. At the launch of the factory, 300 workers were employed.

Ayade said the gesture was not only in fulfillment of his dream to create jobs for citizens of the state but to inspire young people who were not from privileged homes.

He promised the newly employed workers good salaries and welfare package while reiterating the commitment of his administration to the welfare of the poor in the state.

Quite recently, ex-Big Brother Naija Season 4 housemate, Gedoni was appointed SA to the Governor to help boost the sector.
