Funke Akindele parties in Dubai while father gets buried in Lagos

Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and her siblings have been marked absent at the burial of their father, Rev. Godwin Olusoji Akindele.

Their absence at the burial ceremony led to the anger of the presiding Bishop, Rt. Rev. S.O Osundina, JP, who advised they make themselves available when the family of the deceased come for Thanksgiving.

Present at the burial which took place at late Akindele's Ibeshe home in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area are family members, friends, serving and retired Principals, members of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Ikorodu chapter etc.

The children of the deceased who missed the burial are said to have relocated abroad, with Funke Akindele said to be in Dubai partying with friends.

Akindele is survived by three daughters – Bunmi, Funke and Bimbo, and a son, Akin.
