Popular clergyman Apostle Johnson Suleman has reacted to the public apology tendered to him by Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar.

The actress acknowledged the harm she did to the cleric's family and ministry and confessed to slandering him as she shared a public apology on her Instagram page on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Halima Abubakar asked for Apostle Johnson Suleman's pardon after admitting to fabricating untrue accusations against him.

Apostle Suleman, however, responded by posting on his X page that people should stop calling him because forgiveness did not mean memory loss.

He wrote, “You all stop calling my phone. Forgiveness is not memory loss! Status quo maintained! AJS”.
