Focus on corrupt people - Phyna urges President Tinubu

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ijeoma Josephina Otabor better known as Phyna has expressed great hope in President Bola Tinubu to expose corrupt individuals in the country.

The high priestess in an interview with MyNigeria TV, expressed her disapproval with the President's decision to end fuel subsidies on the day of his inauguration adding that he did not offer any consolation to that effect.

Phyna countered that while she was upset by that action, she still has faith that the President will work to reduce the corruption that the nation is dealing with since he has already shown that he is capable of doing so by dismissing and suspending some officials.

She said: "I didn’t like how he removed the fuel subsidy after his inauguration because prices of fuel skyrocketed afterwards but I like how he suspended and sacked people when he assumed office.

"I feel he is going to focus on the corrupt people. If he’s able to do that, it will reduce the corrupt people."
