1.Kenneth's age

Kenneth Okonkwo was born in Nsukka in Enugu State, Nigeria, on the 6th of November, 1968. He celebrated his 55th birthday in November 2022.

2.His parents are Mr. Ozioko Francis Okonkwo and Mrs. Beatrice Okonkwo

Kenneth Okonkwo was born to Mr. Ozioko Francis Okonkwo and Mrs. Beatrice Okonkwo in a refugee camp where his parents stayed after the Biafran war.

He and his family remained in Nsukka, Enugu State, where he was raised. There is not much information about his parents and siblings.

3.Marriage life

The actor has been married twice. In 2000, he married Ogechi Ezekiel, daughter of the then General Overseer of Christian Pentecostal Mission International. The marriage lasted two years and was blessed with a son named Ifeanyi.

Kenneth Okonkwo later found love again after some years with his current wife Ifeoma Okonkwo. It was rumored that his mother did all the work of finding her for him because she realized Ifeoma possessed the qualities of the woman she wants for her son.

The couple initially struggled to have children. Their first and only child, a son, came nine years into their marriage in 2016.

4.Nollywood career

Kenneth Okonkwo has been in Nollywood for over three decades. He made his debut playing Captain John Mark in the soap opera “Ripples.” He did not gain much recognition until he starred in the hit film “Living In Bondage.”

He played Andy Okeke, a young man who joined a cult and sacrificed his wife for riches. Following the success of the film, Nigerians began calling him Andy Okeke.

Okonkwo has since starred in several hit films, including Rich Families, Worlds Apart, The Revolution, Dumebi The Dirty Girl, and many others.

5.Politiical career

Kenneth joined the Labour Party as the party's campaign spokesperson one month after he left the All Progressives Congress (APC). He resigned from the APC on 11th July over the party’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket.

According to the actor he joined the Labour Party to help enthrone good governance and achieve a new Nigeria.
