Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer Adedamola Adefolahan, better known by his stage name Fireboy, has revealed his goal to strengthen his relationship with God.

The "Iseoluwa" singer recently admitted that his relationship with God is not as strong as it should be in a post on his X account, and he stated the need to rectify this issue.

Taking to his X handle, he wrote, “I need to get closer to God.”

Fireboy DML elicited reactions from social media users with his remarks. Many noted that it was a necessity for him to get close to God. Others advised him to start singing gospel songs and reading the word of God.
