Fireboy DML’s ‘Peru’ biggest Afrobeats song ever in England – Ed Sheeran

Grammy award-winning British singer, Ed Sheeran has described Fireboy’s ‘Peru’ remix as the biggest-selling collaboration and second biggest-selling song of the year

According to him, the song which he featured in is the biggest Afrobeats song ever in England.

Speaking in an interview, Ed-Sheeran said he never thought the song would become so big.

“I did an Afrobeat song with an artiste, Fireboy DML. And it’s ended up being the biggest-selling collaboration in England this year. It’s the second biggest-selling song of the year.

“I think it’s the biggest Afrobeats song ever in England. And that was very much me being open to it.

“It was actually my friend that passed away in February, he was the one that hooked that up. I didn’t know it was going to be that big, I was just like “yeah cool”.

Recall that on December 21, 2021, Fireboy and Ed Sheeran released a hit song with the remix of the already global masterpiece, ‘Peru’.
