Afrobeats singer David Adeleke who is better known by his stage name Davido has sparkeed conversations on social media after giving his wife Chioma Rowland Adeleke expensive birthday gifts.
According to reports the singer gave his wife expensive gifts worth thousands as her birthday gift.
The gifts include expensive birkin bags and a Richard Mille wrist watch which is worth thousands of dollars.
Chioma turned 28 on Monday, May 1, 2023 and ahead of her birthday Davido took to his Instagram page to reaffirm his undying love for his partner.
He wrote, “Today I just want to celebrate my right hand! My go to! Happy birthday baby @thechefchi! God bless you. Your love is timeless. It’s a forever thing I ASSURE YOU!”
Following Davido's lavish gift-giving to Chioma, many social media users while expressing their gratitude to Davido for the kind gesture he showed Chioma on her birthday, criticized the singer for being an unfaithful husband.
Many people emphasized that fidelity is the ideal gift to give a partner. This comes after speculations surfaced that the superstar was expecting a second child with his Atlanta-based second baby mama, Amanda.
Social media users voiced their displeasure over the revelation and asked Chioma to leave the marriage where she is treated like trash in the name of material possessions.
