Few weeks after his death, Late Sound Sultan’s instagram handler begs for funds

The wife of late Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, better known as Sound Sultan, Farida Fasasi, has taken to social media to warn followers to disregard any funds seeking a message from her late husband account.

This is coming a few weeks after his death.

Naija News had earlier reported that Sound Sultan died in the US after a battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.

Taking to her Instagram, Ms Fasasi noted her late husband accounts have been hacked by scammers and they are sending messages to innocent people to solicit funds.

Her message reads: ”Hello everyone, Kindly disregard any communication from all @soundsultan ‘s social media accounts.

The accounts have been hacked by scammers sending messages to innocent people to solicit funds. Please the family has no control over the accounts.

Let’s be watchful. Cybercrime is at an all time high. Thank you so much for your support all the way..you would be informed when we have control over the accounts. Farida.”
