Nigerian actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo Salami has shared with his fans some heartwarming recollections from his mother's birthday.
The filmmaker posted a video from his mother's birthday celebration on Instagram. The celebrant was seen in the video with her co-wives, friends, relatives, and husband, Adebayo Salami, also known as Oga Bello.
Among those in attendance were Nollywood veterans Jide Kosoko and Lanre Hassan.
Femi Adebayo, who posted the video online, thanked God for giving his mother the ability to age gracefully and to take pleasure in her labors.
Adebayo prayed that his mother's days would be full of joy and plenty as he professed his love.
He wrote, “Quick throwback to my adorable mother’s birthday soirée in the company of my dad @adebayo.salami, our family and close friends. Grateful to Almighty Allah for granting her the grace to age beautifully while enjoying the fruits of her labour.
Maami, e jeun omo dale l’agbara oloun. I love you and may your days be filled with laughter and abundance insha Allah."
