'Family business' - Reactions as Gov Adeleke appoints nephew, Tunji as board chairman for state agency

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has stirred conversations on social media following the appointment his nephew Tunji Adeleke as board chairman of the local government in Osun State.

The governor on Thursday, July 20 gave his approval for the nomination of the chairmen and vice chairs of non-statutory boards.

These new appointments were made a day after the governor swore in 25 commissioners and three permanent secretaries.

Among the people that were appointed is Tunji Adeleke, son of the governor's late brother who has been appointed as Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission Board.

The report has drawn conversations among social media users who shared their opinions.

While some applauded the Governor for helping his relatives, others chastised him for nepotism.
