FG is not paying Nigerians 30k, Adesina says

Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Buhari, Femi Adesina has discredited a report saying that the Federal Government will pay Nigerians N30,000 to stock up during this period.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the media aide said the statement is untrue.

He also denied reports of an impending national lockdown, saying it was the work of fake news peddlers.

"Fake news peddlers have concocted a statement, purportedly issued by me, saying FG will pay N30,000 to each Nigerian with BVN, to help them stock up before an impending national lockdown. Not me. The so-called statement is hereby disclaimed," Adesina said.
