Ex best friends Mercy Eke and Venita Akpofure unfollow each other

The Big Brother Naija All-Stars Edition season thus far has been pretty crazy.

Mercy Eke and Venita, two former best friends from the reality show, have unfollowed each other, thus it appears that there is some external turmoil in addition to the ongoing reality program.

Due to their individual social media handles, the pair, who at first appeared to be inseparable, have since unfollowed one another.

Mercy Eke and Venita have experienced a distinctive journey together as competitors in the Big Brother Naija house. However, as tensions increased inside the reality house, their bond seemed to have worsened over time.

This friendship appeared to have reached its breaking point when Venita put Mercy up for eviction. In an effort to ensure Mercy's elimination from the competition, she also urged the other housemates to follow suit.

The handler of Mercy Eke's social media account immediately unfollowed Venita on Instagram in response.

Not to be outdone, Venita's handler returned the favor by unfollowing Mercy as well. Fans and followers are speculating about how they will react when they leave the house as a result of this social media backlash.
