Evacuees have been asked to pay the sum of N297,600 for accommodation and feeding following their arrival in Nigeria.

This is according to a memo circulated to the evacuees from the Nigerian Embassy, asking them to pay for quarantine, isolation and accommodation as conditions for airlifting them to their home country.

The memo was sighted by MyNigeria.com and dated May 14th, 2020.

The Evacuees, who are expected to undergo a quarantine process of 14 days would be accommodated in hotels for 16 days.

The bill consists of feeding at the rate of N3,600 for 16 days and accommodation at the rate of N15,000 for 16 days.

All these culminate into 297,600 at their own expense for each of the evacuees.



Over 400 evacuees have been airlifted from several countries around the world to Nigeria this month, as previously reported by MyNigeria.com.
