Nigerian gospel minister, Ebuka Hillary Emmanuel, widely known as Ebuka Songs, has publicly apologised to the Christian community and everyone who felt offended by his controversial livestream with TikTok personality, Habeeb Hamzat (Peller).

The singer had earlier faced criticism from many Christians, including Pastor Kesiena Esiri, founder of the Remnant Christian Network, after his live session with Peller. The backlash grew stronger when a video surfaced showing Peller visiting Ebuka’s home, where he was seen speaking in tongues and giving prophecies.

buka’s response to Pastor Esiri’s remarks had further fueled the matter, sparking widespread reactions and keeping the issue trending for days.

In a recent development, a new video surfaced online showing Ebuka Songs offering a formal apology. He directed his statement to his global supporters, church leaders, and anyone who felt hurt by the incident.

Expressing regret, he said: “To everyone offended by my action, I apologise and my reaction as well, I apologise, that was not my intention.”
