Eazi teams up with Colombian singer, J Balvin to drop "Arcoíris"

Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi has teamed up with Colombian reggaeton singer, José Álvaro Osorio Balvín to drop a latin special, "Arcoíris."

Eazi who was excited about the single took to Twitter this afternoon to debut the song.

"Just woke up in my Pad & the new @JBALVIN & Mr Eazi giving me Life today," he tweeted.



The song which is totally versed in Latin features Eazi's dexterity in infusing his banku style of music into the Latino pop.

So far the song is nearing almost a million views less than a day after its premiere.

J Balvin, as the Colombian national is fondly called, has quite an impressive music resume. He has experimented with a variety of musical genres in his work, including electronica, house music, trap, and R&B. His original musical inspirations included rock groups such as Metallica and Nirvana, and reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee. He has collaborated with Latin American artists such as Ozuna, Anitta, Nicky Jam, Alejandro Sanz, and Pitbull. Despite working with many English-speaking artists such as Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The Black Eyed Peas, Cardi B, Major Lazer, and so many others.

Balvin has won five Billboard Latin Music Awards, four Latin Grammy Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, four Latin American Music Awards and received two Grammy Award nominations. In 2017, the BMI Latin Awards named him the Contemporary Latin Songwriter of the Year for his contribution to the Latin music industry. He became the first Latino artist to be a Lollapalooza.
