E-Money distances himself from Carter Efe after viral car damage incident

Celebrity businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has reportedly taken action following a viral incident involving content creator Carter Efe, who recently damaged a car gifted to him.

The controversy erupted after Carter Efe was seen in a heated clash with fellow influencer Peller during a TikTok live session.

In the now-viral footage, both men were captured smashing each other’s car windshields with stones, leaving the vehicles visibly vandalised.

The altercation shocked viewers, especially given that the car had only been presented to Carter a few days earlier as a birthday gift from E-Money.

Just before the incident, E-Money had celebrated his birthday by gifting cars to several individuals, including Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki.

The generous gesture drew widespread praise online until the dramatic fallout involving Carter shifted the narrative.

Following the clash, many Nigerians criticised Carter Efe, describing his actions as disrespectful to the businessman who had gifted him the vehicle.

Social media users expressed disappointment over the destruction of what was seen as a kind and symbolic gesture.

In what many interpreted as a quiet but firm response, E-Money reportedly unfollowed Carter Efe on Instagram hours after the video surfaced.

A check of his following list appeared to confirm that Carter’s account was no longer there, fueling speculation that the businessman was distancing himself from the influencer.
