Don't mistake the easing of restrictions for permission to act without care, SGF warns

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha has told Nigerians to act with caution.

This is coming as the country prepares to ease the lockdown gradually from May 4th, 2020.

Advising Nigerians not to take the gradual easing for granted, Mustapha warned that securities would enforce the law, strictly.

"The security has been engaged to enforce then law. The PTF will disseminate the news in print, broadcast to pass these guidelines to every member of the society," he said.

Lauding Lagos for swiftly adopting the guidelines, Mustapha said the report from Kano has been duly received and is being looked into.

"The technical team in Kano has submitted its reports. The FG is with them to fight the spread in the state as directed by the President. Kano is a historical city and we will fight the virus. Oxygen and ventilators, face masks, gloves, medical masks and surgical masks have been transported to Kano," the SGF revealed.
