Former Senator, Shehu Sani, has raised concerns over the recently launched sex competition in Sweden.
In his submission, he warned against importing the sex sports into Africa.
Sweden became the first country in the world to officially register sex as a sport days ago.
The country will host the first-ever European Sex Championship in Gothenburg on Thursday June 8, 2023.
It was reported that each participant would engage in maximum of one-hour-long sexual intercourse every day.
The competition’s winners would be decided by a panel of judges with audience input also factored in.
Reacting to the news, Shehu Sani took to his Twitter page to preach against it.
He noted that the other sports approved by the International Olympics Committee are enough for Africa.
“Don’t bring the newly invented Swedish Sport to Africa. We are okay with the ones approved by the International Olympics Committee,” he wrote.
Some social media users took to his comment section to share their thoughts.
If they do, Hausa men and Calabar girls are more likely to win each year. I don't think any other tribe has anything on them
