Nigerian record producer Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy has penned some words of encouragement to upcoming artists in the music industry looking to succeed.

Speaking via his Twitter page on Sunday, June 12 the Mavin record boss admonished upcoming artists to ‘keep pushing.'

Don Jazzy who is known as one of the most influential figures in the Nigerian music industry stated that upcoming artists should not give up on developing their skills and musical expertise.

Encouraging young talents, the Mavins boss wrote, “Dear artists, please keep up the hustle, It hasn’t picked yet does not mean that you are not who you are”.

Don Jazzy's tweet was inspired by the recent success of Mavin's act Crayon who seems to be finally getting the recognition.

"See my boy Cray na. @crayonthis is having the time of his life. Trust me y’all haven’t seen anything yet sef. His bank is loaded as fuck. More jams coming. #MAVIN" he said while boasting about the Mavins' signee who verse on ‘Overdose (Overload)’ has had fans raving over his talent.

Crayon joined Mavin record label in 2019, the same year Rema was unveiled as the newest talent on the label. Despite releasing a self-titled extended play project, he did not experience immediate success like his predecessor.

Mavins records is also home to Magixx, Rema, Ayra Starr, and the latest signing, Boy Spice.

Don Jazzy is one of the few who has displayed a commitment to encouraging and lending a helping hand to emerging artists in the country.
