Founder of Daar Communications, Raymond Dokpesi, has begged the media to stop referencing his COVID-19 comments and views in news bulletins.

This was contained in a letter by the media mogul to media managers, bloggers and journalists in the country.

In the memo, the founder of AIT admitted his mistake in airing his opinions regarding his coronavirus experience in the media instead of sending a letter across to the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 or the Presidency.

He promised to do better and asked media managers to take the content down from their bulletins and websites.

Dokpesi's words: "Very senior citizens and elders have argued that I should have addressed a private letter to the PTF and the Presidency rather than cast aspersions on their methods thereby creating doubts in the minds of the public. I also agreed to an immediate true. We must never be construed to be using the ownership of the platform to promoting our personal agenda or settling some scores with perceived opponents."

Recall that Dokpesi and two of his grandchildren recently recovered from the deadly COVID-19 after testing negative.

He revealed that he was treated with malaria drugs during his time at the University of Abuja Treatment Centre, as reported by MyNigeria.com.

The media mogul also demanded an explanation from medical experts on the difference between malaria and the deadly respiratory illness.
