'Dino is no different from Yahaya Bello' - Attacks as Dino states why he wants to be governor

An interview of governorship candidate of Kogi state, Dino Melaye has sparked conversations on social media.

In an interview with Channels TV on Tuesday, April 18, the former senator who represented Kogi West gave his reasons for wanting to lead Kogi state as governor.

He continued by saying that the people of Kogi state are not receiving their salaries as required, pensioners are not being paid, the state has not provided training or retraining for its citizens, and to top it all off, they are being robbed.

The PDP chieftain claimed that he is the best candidate to rescue the state from its current struggles and frustrations, which is why he ought to be governor of Kogi state.

Many social media users did not find the statement accomodating as they compared Dino to the incumbent Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello stating that Dino has nothing better to offer the people of Kogi state since he will behave like the previous leaders who failed to bring about any development to the state.
