Nollywood Actress Kemi Afolabi Slams Online Trolls Amid Lupus Battle
Nigerian actress Kemi Afolabi has strongly condemned individuals who celebrate the pain, afflictions, or deaths of others, calling the behavior "diabolical."

Taking to her official Instagram account, the mother of one expressed deep frustration over online reactions to human suffering, reminding critics that mortality is a universal reality.

"We all are gonna bite the dust. Your jubilation over another's afflictions or death is diabolical."

Afolabi’s remarks come as she continues her courageous personal battle with lupus, an incurable autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks its own healthy tissues and organs.

Earlier this year in August, she revealed to her supporters that she had undergone multiple surgical procedures following a severe lupus flare.

The actress previously opened up about the emotional toll of her diagnosis, sharing that doctors informed her in 2022 that she had a limited prognosis to live with the condition.

Despite her ongoing health challenges, she continues to advocate against empathy fatigue and malicious commentary on social media.
