Actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has taken to social media to apologized to the House of Representatives-elect for Eti-Osa Federal constituency, Thaddeus Attah, after he wrote an open letter asking Thaddeus to address the public on his identity and qualification.

In the open letter, Deyemi revealed that he voted for Bankole Wellington of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, noting that he believes Banky W is the best candidate for the job.

According to the actor, Thaddeus is not well known in Eti-Osa hence the need for him to publicly talk to the people on his plans for the constituency.

This didn't go down well with many Nigerians of which some said they have had an encounter with Thaddeus during his campaign and he is capable.

Responding to the backlash, Deyemi appologised to Thaddeus and Nigerians for his letter, adding that he wrote it as a concerned citizen.

"After fans and friend called and messaged me and brought me out of my feelings I have given myself sense and now behaved as I was brought up to do and re-addressed Mr Thaddeus Attah @jt.atta with the same kindness and respect as I would anyone. I don’t know who sent me and my big nose to be writing open letter, thinking I’m in a feem acting as younger Pa OBJ! ‘’ he wrote
