Despite your international status you couldn't resist me - Brymo jabs Burna Boy

Nigerian singer Olawale Oloforo popularly known as Brymo has taken a swipe at his colleague, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, commonly referred to as Burna Boy.

In a post shared on his Instagram story on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Brymo claims the Grammy Award singer is yearning for his attention.

Recall that in 2023, Burna Boy threw a shade at his colleague, Brymo, with the lyrics "Hustle hard make you no fall off like Brymo".

He noted that despite his international status, he could not resist or look past a person like himself who has not achieved close to what he has.

Brymo went on to ask Burna Boy to leave the pop scene because he is "almost ugly and has a voice like him but can't sing."

The Ara hitmaker further described himself as a deity, adding that he can help the "Last Last" crooner if he asks respectfully.

He wrote;

1. You need to leave the pop scene. You are seriously almost ugly with voice like mine that can't really sing to boot... take a cause and focus. You need to give the world the things you were deprived...
2. I'm on a deity level. Any wonder why you can't resist the yearning for my attention. Not even your international renown is enough to make you look past me who does not have anything supposedly close to what you are purported to have... what do you want??
