Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie, is among the many Nigerians that have come out to express disapproval of Desmond Elliot's recent comments during a plenary session at the Lagos state House of Assembly.
Recall Elliot sparked outrage online after he referred to Nigerian youths as children, adding that they use social media to promote hate speech.
Edochie in a recent Twitter post, threw subliminal message at the lawmaker, shaming him for focusing on social media when Nigerians are dying of hunger.
He wrote:
"After watching those looting videos, every good leader should be having sleepless nights working out ways to improve the living standard of the masses. Nigerians are dying of hunger. Rather your headache is social media. Shame!"
