Nigerian rapper Oladips has come under heavy criticisms from Nigerians for being jealous of late Mohbad's death after it was revealed that he staged his death to promote his most recent album.

It will be recalled that the entertainment industry was earlier thrown into mourning after Oladips' alleged death broke.

However, his colleague Qdot denied his death, claiming the rapper's management had staged the whole thing.

On the other hand, in line with the reports of his death, internet users have insisted on performing the appropriate funeral ceremonies and candlelight procession.

Some theorized that he was envious of the postmortem success that followed ex-Marlian signee Mohbad's career, who passed away a few months earlier inexplicably.
