Dbanj Arrest: ‘What if it was your father’ – Mr Macaroni slams twitter user who imagined his arrest

Popular content creator, Debo Adedayo, also known as Mr Macaroni, has berated a netizen who imagined he was the one arrested over allegations of N-Power fraud instead of D’banj.

Veteran Nigerian singer, Dbanj made headlines after news broke that he was arrested and detained over allegations of fraudulently diverting monies earmarked by the Federal government for N-Power project.

Releasing a statement via his lawyer, Dbanj claimed that he was not arrested but invited for questioning, while also adding that he is not guilty of the allegations against him.

Reacting to the news of the artiste arrest, a Twitter user opined that if it was Mr Macaroni that was arrested people would have said the government is after opposing voices, as Macaroni is well known as an activist.

She wrote, “Imagine it was Mr macaroni that was arrested for alleged NPower fraud not dbanj. People would have said the government is after opposing voices.”

However, this statement did not sit well with the skit maker who asked the tweep to imagine if it was her father that was arrested for fraud.

He replied, “Why not imagine that it was your father that was arrested. What would people say. Since we are all imagining.”
