Davido yet to apologize as he deletes controversial video from social media

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido yielded to pressure and deleted the short clip from the controversial video of his signee, Logos Olori’s new single ‘Jaye Lo’ which he shared on Twitter.

Recall that a video of some people praying and dancing in front of a mosque attracted wide criticism, with many calling for the singer to delete the video and tender an apology to Muslims for “disrespecting” Islam.

After what looked like he ignoring the criticism, the award-winning singer has now deleted the “offensive” video from his page on Sunday.

A check on his verified Twitter handle @davido by DAILY POST shows that the controversial video has been taken down.

However, the singer is yet to apologize to Muslims as of the time of filing this report.
