Davido wins international award while mourning son

Top Nigerian artiste, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has bagged an international award.

This good news comes shortly after his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi, drowned to death, leaving the artiste in a state of mourning and grief.

Davido has been named among the Africans to be honoured at the Afro Award in Los Angeles, California.

The Founder and Executive Producer of The Afro Awards, Mr Taiwo Oduala confirmed the development.

The Afro Awards 2022, is billed to be broadcast live on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Regal La Live 1000 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90015, USA.

“The main focus of the award is to support people who have demonstrated exceptional humanitarian excellence in various fields,” Oduala said.
