Davido to perform at World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has been confirmed to be performing at the FIFA World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar.

The singer who was initially booked to perform the World Cup’s theme song at the opening ceremony was unable to make it due to the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

However, in a new development, the Davido will be performing alongside other artistes at the closing ceremony in Qatar.

This was made known on social media by Hong Kong businessman, Stephen Hung, who took to his Instagram story to make the announcement.

Hung wrote: “So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there”.
