While many are still trying to get over the news of Nigerian music idol, Davido, featuring in American actor and producer, Eddie Murphy’s Coming 2 America sequel, the singer has shared a snippet showing his cameo role.

The multiple award-winning star could not contain his joy while watching himself in the viral video posted on his Instagram page.

”It’s an absolute pleasure sharing a set with a few legends that held the key to my childhood laughs…,” he wrote.

Coming 2 America is a 2021 American comedy film that serves as a sequel to the original 1988 film starring Eddie Murphy.

It is the second instalment in the Coming to America film series and stars Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, KiKi Layne, Shari Headley, Teyana Taylor, Wesley Snipes, and James Earl Jones.

It also featured several African acts such as Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage and Tekno, late DJ Arafat from Côte d’Ivoire, Prince Kaybee and Msaki of South Africa, Fally Ipupa from Democratic Republic of Congo and Locko from Cameroon.
