Afrobeats superstar Davido has been announced as one of the headline performers for the official kick-off concert of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The concert will take place on Saturday at the Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat and will be open to fans with valid Fan IDs and match tickets.

Other artistes billed to perform at the event include French Montana, Douaa Lahyaoui, Says’z, and Lartiste.

Davido is no stranger to major global sporting events. He previously performed at the AFCON 2017 opening ceremony, the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw in Doha, and the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards.

The AFCON 2025 tournament officially kicks off later on Saturday with the opening match between host nation Morocco and Comoros at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat.
