Lateef Abiola, better known as Lati, a longtime friend and personal assistant to Afrobeats superstar Davido, has caught the attention of many internet users after a video of him being bounced at the entrance of the Adamawa governor's residence.

The incident occurred ahead of Davido's "5ive Tour" stop in Yola, Adamawa State, which is part of his nationwide concert series covering Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos later in December.

In the viral clip, Davido and his entourage were seen arriving at Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's residence.

While the music star was granted easy access by the security personnel, his associate, Lati, was stopped and pushed aside by guards who refused to let him in.

The video has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many users debating the treatment of Davido's close aide and questioning the security protocol at the event.
