Davido’s ‘obstinate’ cyclist fan refuses to send singer account details

Davido‘s cyclist fan Emmiwuks has respectfully declined sending his account details to the Afrobeats maestro as requested.

He insisted on waiting for the singer’s return to Nigeria to fulfil his sole aim of having embarked on an eight-day cycling journey from Benue to Lagos State.

Emmiwuks travelled on Tuesday, August 3 from Benue, his home state, and arrived Lagos on Friday, August 8 to honour O.B.O with a gift following the remarkable success of his fourth studio album, “Timeless”.

Timeless, a 17-track album, since its release on March 31, has recorded several historical landmark including the highest number of album pre-orders by an African artist.

The album broke the previous record set by Burna Boy, with his Grammy-winning album “Twice as Tall” and several others.

Seeing the impressive figures and numbers the project has achieved, as it resonates with fans worldwide, Emmiwuks expressed his desire to deliver a gift to Davido for his effort in blessing listeners with his lyrical might.

When Davido got hint of Emmiwuks trip on Thursday, he instructed him to go back home but the latter maintained he must accomplish his mission.

Following his resolve, the DMW boss requested for his account details, offering him monetary compensation even while he promised to see him on his return to the country.

However, the cyclist fans have since revealed he would withhold his account details until when he meets Davido, a moment he already anticipates would be his happiest ever.

He wrote: “SIR I appreciate you for the generous offer of telling me to send my ACCTNUM for you to bless your boy but meeting my 001 and delivering this my gift all the way from Benue state will be my happiest moment in this life.

“No disrespect I will wait for you Boss. LONGLIVE 001 30BG.”
