Davido’s ex-signee, Trevboi wanted as police investigates killing at Lagos nightclub

The Nigerian Police Force's Lagos State Command has launched an inquiry into the alleged involvement of Trevboi, a former signee of Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, in the killing of a man in a Lagos nightclub.

According to a netizen who goes by the handle @cloud_target, Trevboi is wanted, claiming that his friend was murdered on Saturday in the Bar 38 bar in the Fadeyi neighborhood of Lagos.

The user further revealed that Trevboi is currently armed and should not be approached.

He said this by tagging Benjamin Hundeyin, the police public relations officer for Lagos State Command, on Twitter.

In response, Hundeyin declared that the police command has since opened an inquiry into the incident.

Hundeyin also confirmed that the suspect left his car there and ran away on foot.

He wrote: “We commenced investigation minutes after the incident happened. The suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot. The car and the documents in it are in our custody. Investigation is ongoing.”
