Davido’s aide Isreal DMW begs the Muslim community over controversial video

Isreal DMW, the logistics manager of singer Davido, has apologized to the Muslim community for the viral video.

Recall that Davido has faced public criticism for releasing a music video for a song titled “Jaye Lo” by his signee, Logos Olori.

In the video, Logos Olori was spotted on a building singing and making prayer movements, while other Muslims were shown below faithfully performing Solah and dancing.

The video made the Muslim community very angry and they took drastic steps by deciding to cancel Davido on Twitter and banning his songs from being publicly played in the northern parts of Nigeria.

Davido later deleted the video from all of his social media platforms.

In spite of this, some Muslims in Maiduguri were still not having it.

They released a video burning a banner of Davido’s photo asking him to do a public apology.

Reacting, Isreal DMW begged the Muslim community adding that the music video by his boss Davido was purely for entertainment, and that he had no hidden motives.

Showing his love for the Muslim community, Isreal DMW wrote: “Let me specially apologise to my Muslims brothers and sisters, on the video my oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift up somebody, which is one of his hubbies. It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented. Make una no vex. Love you all.”
