Afrobeats singer Davido keeps proving why he is one of the greatest and best artists to ever come out of Nigeria, and he proudly wears the Nigerian flag wherever he goes.

At the conclusion of the singer's recent Timeless stage performance in Houston, Mayor Sylvester Turner formally proclaimed July 17 as World Davido Day.

Davido's recreation of the renowned Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, commonly known as the "Eko Bridge," while performing on his stage, was one of the main highlights of the performance.

The main stage and the backstage are connected via a bridge.

Following his concert in Lagos a few months ago, Davido reconstructed the nation's National Theatre.
