'Davido na baba' - Accolades as Davido's 'Timeless' features at Barcelona's Nu Camp

Nigerian superstar David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has achieved another milestone as his "Timeless" album keeps topping charts and breaking records.

The singer's album was on display during a recent match between FC Barcelona vs Girona, and it has generated reactions on social media.

The match which was held at the Spotify Camp Nou, the home stadium of FC Barcelona, saw many react with excitement.

Recall that Davido since the release of his fourth studio album "Timeless" on Friday, March 31, has been making waves as the album keeps topping different music charts both locally and globally.

The record-breaking album officially made its debut on the Billboard 200 albums chart at number 37 after selling over 17,000 units in the US alone.

This is huge as the album also made its appearance at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart as well.

On Spotify Nigeria, the 17-track album tallied 4.91 million streams on its first day of release — surpassing the previous record of 1.36M by Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’.

The album debuted with 3.61 million streams more than the number of the previous record held on Spotify for first day streams.

Following the album's display during the Barcelona vs. Girona game, many social media users congratulated the singer for accomplishing such a feat and predicted that it would reach new heights because it was a significant means of album promotion.
