'Davido is vindicated' - Reactions as Bill Gates settles new, old cat saga

American business magnate William Henry Gates III who is better known as Bill Gates has caused a stir on social media after 'settling' the new cat, old cat brouhaha.

Speaking at the Pan-African Youth Forum 2023 in Nigeria, Bill Gates recounted how elated his youngest daughter, Phoebe was when she heard the philanthropist was going to Nigeria.

According to Bill Gates, his daughter expressed to him how fortunate he was as he could meet Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy and charts-topping singer Rema on his arrival.

Bill Gates also recalled that he saw Davido and Wizkid perform during his previous visit to the country.

Since then, a lot of Nigerian internet users have connected Bill's video to the recent debate between the old and new cats.

Many social media users opined that Bill Gates has finally settled the new and old cat brouhaha thereby vindicating Afrobeats singer Davido.
