Davido is still successful musically despite husky voice - Liz Anjorin

Popular actress, Liz Ajorin has said that singer, David Adeleke commonly known as Davido is being hated for working hard despite coming from a wealthy family.

According to her, Davido is the most hardworking artist, and that his musical success cannot be credited to his wealthy background.

She said this in a video shared on her social media page.

Anjorin said; “You cannot tell me Davido became a superstar because of his rich father. No artist is more hardworking than Davido despite his dad being rich and that’s the reason he has so many haters.”

She slammed trolls who constantly berate the singer over his voice, adding that he has become successful musically despite his husky voice.

Her comment comes after several Nigerians took to social media to criticise the singer over his recent interview.

In the interview on The Bridge podcast, Davido made some revelations about his career and his wife, Chioma.

Davido had said that he met his wife Chioma when he had no money.

He also disclosed that some fans passed at the sight of him during some of his performances at the stadium.

This shocked many who questioned his claims.
