Nigerian singer David Adeleke, commonly referred to as Davido, gifted the Timi of Ede, Oba Adesola Lawal, as he celebrated his 70th birthday.

On February 10, 2025, the Ede monarch turned a year older, and Davido gifted the king of his hometown a brand new GAC SUV.

Photos of the monarch taking delivery of his new car were shared on @Blackxcellencee’s Instagram page.

One of the pictures showed the Timi of Ede sitting inside the vehicle. Another photo of the SUV was accompanied by an appreciation message to Davido, stating that Oba Adesola Lawal liked his gift.

It reads: “Thank you Davido, Kabiyesi loves his bday gift.”
