Davido confirms working on a single with Wizkid

Afrobeats singer, Davido has confirmed he will be releasing a single with Wizkid early next year.

The singer made this known in an interview with The Beat 99.9fm on Saturday, April 1 following the release of his Timeless album.

He said: "We are talking. It's in the talks and I will be lying to you if I tell you we are not talking about it. It's looking like next year, we planned to do it this year but I have to do my tour first. I have to tour with this Timeless album. I am doing my arena tour in July, almost 20 arenas."

"Next year, I think me and Wiz will probably drop a single."

The confirmation by Davido comes after Wizkid had initially revealed both men were working on a joint tour this year.

Davido in the same interview confirmed that Wizkid literally called him weekly after the demise of his late son, Ifeanyi.
