UK-based Nigerian clergyman and founder of SPAC Nation, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has opened up about his unwavering support for Afrobeats megastar Davido.

Speaking in a video that has gone viral, he described the singer as the biggest artiste to emerge from Nigeria and a vital ambassador for African culture.

Speaking on his close relationship with the music star during his UK engagements and tours, the flamboyant pastor explained that his commitment to backing African creatives goes beyond personal friendship.

He noted that Davido plays a crucial role in putting Africa on the world map, helping the international community view Africans as valuable individuals.

“Davido, biggest artiste out of Nigeria.
I support culture. I believe in culture and Davido is part of culture. He puts us on the map,” he said.

“So that's why I support these things. So even when in unwell, I'm there,” Davido is currently on tour in the UK.
