Top Nigerian artistes have reacted to the surprising arrest of Stanley Omah Didia also known as Omah Lay and Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems, in Uganda hours after a concert.

This comes after Omah Lay yesterday posted a tweet confirming the arrest following rife social media rumors.

Davido in a swift reaction condemned the tweet, stating that they didn't bargain for this. He also asked about how to help their situation.

"Omo this Ugandan P, how can we help? What can we do? Artists just tryna eat! They didn’t bargain for this @PoliceUg !!!!! BIG CAP!!" he tweeted.

Toeing the line of Davido, Burna Boy called out the Uganda Police as he pointed out that the show was organized by Ugandans and tickets were sold publicly, Legitt.ng said.

According to the self-proclaimed African Giant, the artists shouldn't have to suffer for it.

"They should not be treated like this! @PoliceUg ?! they were invited for a show organised by your citizens, granted visas, tickets were sold publicly on the WORLD WIDE WEB! this anarchy should not be targeted at the artists! #freetems #FreeOmahLay."

For Tiwa Savage, the arrest of Omah Lay and Tems is unfair.

Patoranking in his recent tweet tagged the arrest as senseless.

Wizkid simply wants the two artists brought home safely.
